Snow Flurry blows in at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 6. At this annual event, featuring 80,000 pounds of snow, children rule in the snow, and no adults are allowed. Prancer, a live reindeer, will be there, as well as the Star of Bethlehem in the Burke Baker Planetarium. The planetarium show uses real science to address questions many have about this Biblical story such as, ‘Who were the wise men, and were there only three?’ Did they follow a visible star?’ and ‘Where did they start their journey?’ Recent discoveries help answer these questions more completely than ever before.
Tickets for Snow Flurry V are $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Separate ticket required for The Star of Bethlehem. For tickets, or more information, visit www.hmns.org or call 713-639-4629.
