The Houston Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for nine-month-old Nhi Buong, who was reportedly abducted by her mother’s boyfriend, Quoc Buong.
The suspect is not the child’s biological father.
Buong was described as a 36-year-old Vietnamese male, approximately 5′ 4″ tall with a slight build and dark hair and eyes.
The suspect and child were last seen in southwest Houston around 1:50 p.m. today in a white 2002 Honda Van bearing Texas license plates JXF846.
Anyone with information regarding the child, suspect or vehicle is asked to immediately contact the Houston Police Department at 713-308-3600 or the nearest police agency.
