The West U Arts and Jazz Recess, benefiting the Houston Arts Alliance and Artshound.com, will be held Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Colonial Park.
Students from local elementary, middle and high schools will perform before award-winning vocalist and songwriter Kristine Mills takes the stage.
KPRC-TV Anchor Rachel McNeill will emcee the event, sponsored by Monogram Residential Trust, Kroger, the Arts Institute of Houston, and the Houston Arts Alliance. Many art exhibits will be on display, and available for sale. Proceeds will benefit the Houston Arts Alliance and ArtsHound.com. Allusion_Arts_Recess_Flyer (2)
Participants can grab a bite to eat and head to the Recess Zone for arts and music workshops, games, activities and free music lessons. It will be a day of creativity, inspiration, and family fun.
Admission will be free.
