A recent report from the Washington Post lists America's Most Challenging High Schools in 2016 and Bellaire High School is among them. In total, 37 HISD schools were featured on the list. Bellaire Crime Report: 21 burglaries in three weeks

Burglaries ran rampant in Bellaire from May 6 to the 22nd. Twenty-one burglaries were reported to the Bellaire Police Department and they ranged from burglarized cars, houses, and offices.
