Bellaire artist Susannah Virginia Griffin will be featured in an upcoming Singular Sensations exhibit at Agora Galley in New York City.
The exhibition is scheduled to run from March 1 through March 22 with an opening reception on March 3.
Griffin takes a diverse approach to her art, moving from an emphasis on the figurative and the compelling elements of light and color to a focus on abstract forms and the energy contained in the undefined.
No matter her style, Griffin’s masterful handling of line, composition and form renders her works compelling, as the viewer is invited to unpack all the layers of meaning embedded in each piece.
Griffin said her art is about “creating the future, learning of the self, and loving the One that creates life and is of love.”
Agora Gallery was established in 1984 and is located in the heart of New York City’s Chelsea art galleries district. It is known for showcasing an array of artists from around the world and around the corner, while providing quality and original art to collectors.
