Bellaire Choir Sends Two Members To All-State

Two choir members at Bellaire High School have earned positions in All-State Choirs. Bellaire senior Jordan Ing was selected for the Texas All-State Mixed Choir and junior Rohini Rege was selected for the Texas All-State Women’s Choir by the Texas Music Educator’s Association. Only 3 percent of those who audition are chosen for this honor.

The two students will perform at the TMEA conference in San Antonio this month. The following students made region choir: Region Honor Choir Members: Trey Burns, Dayle Chang, Sally Fang, Jaekob Greene, Eliza Posada, Lulu Tekle and Selena Yang. All-State Region Choir Members: Gaby Gonzalez, Jordan Ing, Anna Li, Jordan McCoy, Kyle Ng, Cathy Nolan, Zack Parker, Nazayat Parvez, Austin Ramos, Rohini Rege, Christopher Rodriguez, and Larricia Tuggle. All-State Pre-Area Choir: Jordan Ing, Kyle Ng, Zack Parker, Nazayat Parvez, Rohini Rege, and Christopher Rodriguez.
