The Bellaire City Council made several appointments to its boards and commissions during its Monday night meeting.
Three people were appointed to serve on the Bellaire Cultural Arts Commission for a two year term. New members include Stephanie Goldfield and Ann-Marie Daleo. Council also reappointed Judy McConnell to the commission.
Four people were appointed to the Bellaire L.I.F.E. Advisory Board for a two year term. New members include Barbara Davis and Marjorie Ishee. Council reappointed Gladys McGowan and Iola Pickul.
Three people were reappointed to the Board of Adjustment for a two year term including Randy Pollard, Aashish Shah and Deborah Sharp.
Three people were appointed to the Building and Standards Commission for a two year term. Patrick Adams was appointed to the commission and Gregory Cauthen and Michael Baker were reappointed.
Four people were appointed to serve on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a two year term. Charlotte Aguilar and Vanessa Nieves were reappointed. James Broadwell and James Jameson were also appointed to the board.
Jameson declined his appointment to the Parks Board and council will discuss a new appointment at their next meeting.
Three people were appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a two year term. Wayne Alderman was appointed to the commission and Lori Aylett and Winfred Frazier were reappointed.
Four people were appointed to the Recycling Committee to serve a two year term. Brenda Cauthen and William Stone were reappointed by council. Steve Winograd and Jana Bedi were also appointed to the committee.
All of the terms start on July 1 and end on June 30, 2013.
