The Bellaire City Council will meet Monday to consider the appointment of two new members of the Ad Hoc Municipal Facilities Committee, and amending an ordinance that created the panel.
The council created the advisory committee last year, but two members resigned when the council balked at their suggestions for an alternate site plan for a new City Hall, Municipal Court, Police Department and Civic Center.
After a large number of Bellaire residents attended a community forum, the council is reconsidering the site plan it approved last May.
The ad hoc committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, to consider several new site plans for Bellaire’s new municipal facilities.
*A proclamation recognizing May, 2015 as “Older Americans Month” in the City of Bellaire, Texas, in recognition of the contributions that older adults and the people who serve and support them make to the community.
