Bellaire fire department employee tests positive for COVID-19

July 2, 2020 by Charlotte Aguilar

A Bellaire Fire Department employee has tested positive for COVID-19, the city reported Thursday (July 2), the fifth Bellaire city worker to do so.

”A preliminary review of the recent activities of the affected employee indicates minimal exposure to the public,” the statement read. City workers who may have been exposed are being tested and could be isolated, and Harris County Public Health has been alerted and will conduct tracing and notifications.
