Bellaire Gas Prices Jump By More Than 12 Cents, Now Average $2.75 Per Gallon

GAS PRICES UP – Gas prices jumped by more than 12 cents a gallon last week.

The cost for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline in Bellaire jumped 12.4 cents in the past week to an average of $2.75 as of yesterday.

The new local price compares with a national average that increased 8.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.94 per gallon, according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices during the past week, prices in Bellaire yesterday were 29.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 12.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 9.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 30.2 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
