Average retail gasoline prices in Bellaire continued to climb last week, jumping another 3.9 cents.
As of yesterday, the local average cost had risen to $3.43 per gallon.
The Bellaire price-per-gallon compared with a national average that increased 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.53 per gallon, according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Bellaire during the past week, prices yesterday were 80.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 48.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 40.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 74.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
