The Bellaire Science Fair Team started off spring break by competing at the Science Engineering Fair of Houston on March 14, taking home top prizes at the award ceremony. The team of Freedom Xu, Zhiyang Zeng, and Feng Ling will advance directly to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in May. Seven members will advance to the state competition, the most in BHS Science Fair history, which will take place in San Antonio in April. Biology teacher Anna Loonam won Teacher of the Year.
