Bellaire is launching its yearly Christmas tree recycling today (Monday, Dec. 28) — a dropoff which will last through Jan. 15.
Residents can deposit their stripped, unflocked trees in the marked collection area — in the parking lot at the corner of Baldwin Avenue and Edith Street in the most southeastern portion of the city.
All ornaments, tinsel, stands and lights must be removed.
Trees left curbside in residential areas will be picked up with household trash and land filled.
