The Bellaire Library is honored to have served the community for over 60 years with innovative programs and access to information. In celebration of National Library Week, which is this week, there are several special activities planned at the Bellaire Library.
On Monday, “Where’s Waldo at the Library” will be a fun passive activity for ages 2-8 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
On Tuesday, in addition to the weekly Infant Story Time at 10 a.m., the library is showing the movie “Into the Woods” at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, in addition to Preschool Story Time at 11 a.m., the library will show the classic movie “42nd Street” at 1 p.m., followed by blowing bubble fun at 3:30 p.m.
On Thursday, there will be Music Time at 10 .m. for ages 0-24 months and at 11 a.m., for ages 2-5. A National Library Week craft, “Bookmarks” will be held at 3:30 p.m. for ages 5-18.
Saturday is the library’s National Library Celebration. In addition to celebrating National Library Week it is also the time to celebrate the completion of those families that participated in Take Time to Read program this past spring. The library will offer fun with stories, activities, dancing, crafts, snacks, and more.
