Bellaire police arrested a 23-year-old woman on Nov. 1 for reckless driving.
According to reports, police responded to an accident in the 7000 block of IH 610 southbound around 7:30 a.m.
A driver had stuck a disabled vehicle that was parked on the side of the road, police said.
During the investigation, Alma Garza was found to be driving recklessly.
Garza was speeding on the inside shoulder, trying to get around traffic when she struck the disabled vehicle.
She was arrested for the offense.
