Bellaire Police Arrest Several Drivers For Drunk Driving

Bellaire police arrested several drivers for drunk driving from Jan. 29-Feb. 6.

Bellaire police arrested a 24-year-old man on Feb. 6 for driving while intoxicated.

According to police reports, officers responded to a minor accident in the 5900 block of IH 610 southbound.

During the investigation, the driver was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated.

William Lamar was arrested and charged for the offense.

On Feb. 1, Pablo Chay-Tajiboy, 31, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Police pulled him over in the 5400 block of Bissonnet after receiving a call from a witness about a possible drunk driver.

During the investigation, police found Chay-Tajiboy to be driving while intoxicated.

He was arrested for the offense.

On Jan. 29, Jose Luis Cruz, 27, was arrested and charged for drunk driving.

Police pulled him over in the 5500 block of IH 610 southbound for failing to signal a lane change and failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.

During the investigation, Luis Cruz was found to be driving while intoxicated.

His passengers, Bernardo Mendoza, 27, and Joel Leobardo Cruz, 21, were also intoxicated and were arrested and charged with public intoxication.
