Bellaire Police Arrest Two Women For Trying To Pass Checks At Sterling Bank

Bellaire police arrested two women on Aug. 20 for trying to pass forged checks at Sterling Bank, 5408 Bissonnet.

According to reports, police were called to Sterling Bank as the forgery was taking place.

Latasha Jones, 32 and Latonya Gray, 32, were detained and identified as the two suspects who tried to pass the forged checks.

The bank teller contacted the account signer of the account and confirmed that the checks were forgeries, police said.

Jones and Gray were arrested and charged with forgery.
