Bellaire police have suspect in indecent exposures — but seek more victims

January 8, 2019 by Charlotte Aguilar

Bellaire police have arrested a man they suspect of indecently exposing himself to a number of victims as he cruised the streets as far back as October — but they believe there are more victims and hope they will come forward to help build a case.

Hector Rodriguez, 20, was taken into custody at his home — not in Bellaire — without incident Monday (Jan. 7) after being connected to a series of crimes where a man in a white, four-door sedan exposed and pleasured himself in sight of joggers, a woman pushing a stroller, and another woman boarding at a bus stop.

The earliest report came in October, and complaints continued through Christmas Day, when the suspect reportedly crept alongside a woman and her friend as they jogged, and he performed lewd acts.

Anyone with additional complaints or information is urged to call Bellaire police at 713-668-0487.

Based on a news release from the Bellaire PD and reporting by ABC-13
