Bellaire residents get glimpse of, voice opinions on site options for city buildings

Bellaire residents had the opportunity to voice their opinions about the possible locations for new civic buildings at a town hall meeting Tuesday.

About 50 people attended the presentation by Jeff Gerber of PGAL, which showed possible locations and heights for four different options and included the pros and cons of each.

    What exactly do you think we should do as to replacing/renovating City Hall/Police/Courts, and where should they be located? Since you are always so willing to provide us your viewpoint, I’m interested in what your thoughts are on this issue.

      Corbett, congratulations for using your name!

      Evelyn’s park is the obvious best location. Staff parking is available across the street at church. Ostentation can readily be displayed on a major thoroughfare.
      Try to remember that C.H. Works well in Bellaire park and that the parks BELONG to the city, that is us, we the people.
