Bellaire Residents Report Auto Theft, Identity Theft To Police

Several incidents were reported to Bellaire police from Nov. 17-21.

These incidents were reported to the Bellaire Police Department from Nov. 17-21 and under investigation:

On Nov. 17, a purse was stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Holt.

The victim told police that an unknown person stole her purse from the kitchen table in her home.

On Nov. 18, a resident reported that a female was harassing her via her house phone and cell phone.

On Nov. 18, an unknown person used a resident’s personal information to obtain a personal load over the Internet.

On Nov. 19, someone stole cash from the ROTC classroom at Bellaire High School.

On Nov. 19, an unknown person used a resident’s personal information to open two credit card accounts.

On Nov. 20, a purse was stolen from a vehicle at Russ-Pittman Park parking lot, 7112 Newcastle.

On Nov. 21, a vehicle was stolen from a residence in the 4300 block of Cynthia. The victim’s cell phone and wallet were in the vehicle, police said.
