Bellaire Residents Report Identity Theft Problems To Police

Bellaire police are investigating two identity thefts that were reported on Nov. 22.

Bellaire police are investigating two incidents of impersonation that were reported on Nov. 22.

According to reports, a resident stated that an unknown person used his personal information to make a credit card purchase out of state.

Another resident reported that an unknown person used their bank account information to transfer money out of their savings account and into the suspect’s checking account, police said.

The suspect then closed their checking account.

These incidents are under investigation.
