Bellaire Residents Report Identity Theft, Stolen Packages To Police

Several incidents were reported to the Bellaire Police Department from Dec. 6-17.

These incidents were reported to the Bellaire Police Department from Dec. 6-17 and are under investigation:

On Dec. 6, an unknown person used a resident’s personal information to open several credit card and cell phone accounts. Several unauthorized purchases were also made with the resident’s personal information.

On Dec. 7, an unknown person used a resident’s name to open a Verizon cell phone account.

On Dec. 9, several packages were stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Wendell.

On Dec. 15, an unknown person used a resident’s personal information to get a credit card and use it.

On Dec. 16, a catalytic converted was cut off of a vehicle that was parked in the 4400 block of Acacia.

On Dec. 17, someone entered an unlocked door of a home in the 4500 block of Holt and stole several items.

On Dec. 17, a school laptop was stolen from a classroom at Episcopal High School.
