Bellaire to close city offices, juggle trash collections for New Year’s

Except for emergency services, Bellaire city offices will be closed Tuesday to observe the New Year’s Day holiday.

The library and recreation center will also be dark, and there will be no solid waste collection.

Here’s how collections will proceed the rest of the week:

Section B: North of Bellaire, West of 610
Recycling rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 2

Sections C & D: North and south of Bellaire, East of 610
Solid waste collection rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 4

Section E: South of Bellaire, West of 610, East of S. Rice
Limbs and brush collection rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 1
