Bellaire, West U Police Investigating Numerous Home Burglaries

The Bellaire and West U Police Departments are investigating numerous home burglaries that occurred in the area over a one-week period.

The Bellaire and West U Police Departments are investigating numerous home burglaries that occurred in the area over a one-week period.

Three homes have been burglarized in Bellaire.

On Jan. 23, police were dispatched to a Bellaire home in the 5000 block of Holt and discovered that someone had forced entry to the home through the front doors.

The suspects took jewelry and electronics from the residence, police said.

On Jan. 23, a second home in the 5000 block of Holt was burglarized.

The suspects forced entry through the back door and stole jewelry and electronics.

On Jan. 29, a home was broken into in the 5100 block of Locust in Bellaire.

The suspects forced entry through the back good and tried to steal the air conditioning unit, but were unsuccessful, police said.

Four homes have been burglarized in West U.

On Jan. 25, a home was broken into in the 3700 block of Nottingham.

The suspects forced entry through the back door of the home and stole several items, police said.

On Jan. 26, a home was burglarized in the 2600 block of Talbot.

On Jan. 27, burglars entered a home in the 2700 block of Centenary.

The suspects entered through a window and stole several items, police said.

On Jan. 28, multiple items were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Carnegie.

West U police have not released what the items were that were stolen from the homes.

These incidents are under investigation.
