Bissonnet Boulevard will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for track and crossing maintenance. This will be a full closure of both east and west bound lanes.
Residents should be aware that, according to federal safety regulations, the Silent Zone rules are suspended during any period of time where work is being done on any rail line. Therefore, there is the possibility of train horns sounding during the construction period.
Residents should plan to take alternate routes during this time to avoid traffic congestion.
