Because of a fight with the contractor, the construction work on Bissonnet, between Kirby and Buffalo Speedway, is at a standstill.
The Upper Kirby District is working to restore Bissonnet so lanes can be reopened to traffic ahead of the Houston Marathon and the Super Bowl. The rest of the roadway would then be completed after the Super Bowl.
