Braeswood Democrats Ice Cream Social Sunday, Several Candidates Have Confirmed Attendance

The Braeswood Democrats will hold an Ice Cream Social from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday at 4123 Bellefontaine. The event is an opportunity for voters to meet candidates for several local races.
There will be ice cream sundaes from 7-7:30 p.m. and presentations from candidates from 7-8:30 p.m. Candidates that have confirmed attendance include Vince Ryan for county attorney, Robert Hinojosa for family district court, David Mincberg for county judge, C.O. Bradford for district attorney and Leslie Taylor, justice, First Court of Appeals, place 5.
Invited candidates, who according to event organizers are likely to attend, include Richard Noriega for the U.S. Senate, Michael Skelly for congressional district 7, Al Green for congressional district 9, Ellen Cohen for state representative district 134, Al Edwards for state representative district 146, Diane Trautman for county tax assessor, Adrian Garcia for county sheriff, Debbie Kerner for HISD school board trustee and Jim Henley for HISD school board trustee.
A $30 donation is requested, with seniors discounted to $20.
