Burglar Steals Jewelry From Bellaire Resident’s Home

All incidents are under investigation with the Bellaire Police Department:

On June 20, a burglar broke into a home in the 4700 block of Braeburn and stole several pieces of jewelry.

On June 21, a purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 7100 block of Newcastle.

On June 21, a briefcase was stolen out of a vehicle in the 4500 block of Evergreen.

On June 21, someone used a resident’s credit card to make several fraudulent purchases.

On June 23, a burglar broke out the left rear passenger window of a SUV and stole several items in the 7000 block of Rice.

On June 24, someone keyed a car in the 5100 block of Jessamine. The suspect caused $500 worth of damage to the paint on the passenger side of the vehicle.

On June 24, someone damaged a window on a home in the 4900 block of Cedar Street. Entry was not made into the home and nothing was missing.

On June 24, someone used a resident’s debit card to make several fraudulent purchases at a bridal store, 5200 West Loop South.

On June 26, a window was broken on a vehicle parked in the Brighton Gardens parking lot, 4620 Bellaire Blvd. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
