Burglars Break Into West U Home, Have A Snack, Steal Jewelry

A West U home was broken into in the 6600 block of Community on Aug. 11.
No one was at the residence when the unknown suspects broke a window and entered the home, police said.
The burglars went through the house and stole a camera and some jewelry.
The home owner told police that the burglars went through the food in the fridge.
The fridge door was left open and food was sitting out on the counter, police said.
This incident is under investigation.
