Burglars Steal Loose Change, CDs From West U Residents Vehicles

A West U resident’s 2001 Toyota SUV was burglarized in the 3300 block of Albans on Aug. 8.
The owner of the SUV noticed that his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through, police said.
An unknown suspect had rummaged through the contents of the center console and the glove box.
The only thing that was missing from the vehicle was change. Less than $5 in change was missing, police said.
On Aug. 11, a 2003 Hummer was burglarized in the 3700 block of Sunset.
The owner of the vehicle noticed that the driver’s side door was slightly open and he found that his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged though.
The burglar stole 10 CDs from the vehicle, police said.
