A business in the 5200 block of Bellaire was broken into Jan. 29. Officers responded to the call around 9:30 a.m. The reportee told police that when he entered the business, he noticed that the back door and the safe were open. Money was missing from the safe, according to reports.
Two suspects were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation and auto theft after police were called while the burglary was in progress around 5:36 p.m. Jan. 29. The two suspects ran when police arrived at the residence in the 4800 block of Braeburn. The suspects forced entry into the house and stole several items. They fled in a stolen car and were eventually taken into custody.
A car in the 800 block of Anderson was broken into on Jan. 27; on Jan. 28 a 2005 GMC Yukon was broken into and several items stolen along with the car radio.
A possible forged check was used at a business in the 5100 block of Cedar on Jan. 26.
