Children’s Book Author To Read At Children’s Museum, Sign Books

Brian Jacques, children’s book author and storyteller, will stop by the Children’s Museum of Houston, 1500 Binz, to read from his new novel, Doomwyte, and sign books at 5 p.m. Oct. 27.
Jacques is an English author best known for his successful New York Times bestselling Redwall series of novels, as well as the Tribes of Redwall and Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series. He also completed two collections of short stories entitled The Ribbajack & Other Curious Yarns and Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales.
Jacques has said the characters in his stories are based on people he has met. His novels have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and have been published in 28 languages.
Museum admission is $5 per person and $4 for seniors 65 and older. Children under two and museum members receive free admission. For more information visit www.cmhouston.org
