June 13, 2008 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

The Children’s Museum of Houston will be celebrating with activities during a special Father’s Day celebration — all dads will receive free admission when they visit the Museum with a child on Father’s Day.
Children and their dads can make Father’s Day Flubber from 1-4 p.m., a slimy goo made from everyday household materials. From 12:30-6 p.m., museum-goers can build catapults and launch ping pong balls across the room, and children can make ties and Father’s Day cards.
Children’s Museum of Houston is located at 1500 Binz. New museum hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and $4 for seniors over the age of 65. Children under two and museum members get free admission.
For more information, visit www.cmhouston.org or call (713) 522-1138.
