Children’s Museum Offering Free Activities, Incentives For The End Of Summer

The Children’s Museum of Houston is offering several free activities and incentives to help out families when the vacation budget has run out at the end of the summer.
Now through the end of August, the museum will deduct the price of a gallon of gas off of a total of four pad admissions. Visit www.cmhouston.org to print out a coupon.
During Story Time on Thursday nights from 5-8 p.m., the museum gives away free books in both English and Spanish, as well as free Houston Public Library cards. A library is located inside the museum.
Thursday nights from 5-8 p.m. the museum is free, with spotlight performances at 6:30 p.m. Through August, free vaccinations are available from 5-7 p.m. Parents must bring their child’s vaccination records.
The museum is located at 1500 Binz, and summer hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m. For more information, visit www.cmhouston.org or call 713-522-1138.
