Children’s Museum Offering Free Vaccinations On Thursdays

All children needing immunizations as required for admission by the Houston Independent School District will have the opportunity to receive free vaccinations at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the Texas Children’s Hospital will be administering them on Thursdays. To qualify, parents and guardians will need their child’s immunization records.
The vaccinations will be available from 5-7 p.m. July 31, administered by the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Care Van Program, and 5-7 p.m. Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28, administered by the Texas Children’s Hospital Mobile Unit.
The vaccinations will take place at the museum, 1500 Binz, during their Free Family Night. Admission is free on Thursdays from 5-8 p.m. For more information visit www.cmhouston.org or call 713-522-1138.
