The Children’s Museum of Houston, 1500 Binz, will morph into the McDonald’s Halloween Mansion Oct. 16 through Oct. 31.
Oct. 16 through Oct. 22 is Halloween Creepy Creatures WonderWeek. Children will have an opportunity to play Dr. Frankenstein, bringing to life mystical monsters in Monster Mix-n-Match. Activities include Spider Hats, Spider Prints, Martian Goo, the Mad Science Lab with Wiggly Worms and Sewer Creatures, and the creation of Black Cat Halloween Cards.
Halloween Tricks and Spells WonderWeek takes place Oct. 23 though Oct. 30, and includes Spooky Shadows and Ghost Drawing activities. Mad scientists will be on hand to help children create slime and Rock Candy, and guests can discover the secret behind bubbles and glow sticks. Museum-goers can bob for apples and trick-or-treat through the museum.
On Halloween, Oct. 31, the museum will hold their Monster Mash Bash and remain open until 8 p.m. Beginning at 5 p.m., DJ Beetlejuice will provide music while guests unravel the mystery of static electricity and participate in the Ronald McDonald Magic Show. Participants are encouraged to come in costume.
