Children’s Museum To Celebrate Thanksgiving With Float Making And Holiday Parade

The Children’s Museum of Houston will celebrate Thanksgiving with float making and a holiday parade that will run through the new FlowWorks exhibit on Nov. 26. The float making will take place 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with the parade at 1 p.m.

 

Also on Nov. 26, the museum will hold Kids Karaoke from 2-5 p.m., and a hot air balloon craft station from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Children will have a chance to fill a cornucopia with pretend fruits, vegetables and flowers, write “thank you” poem, harvest corn and make paper bag turkeys.

 

Admission to the Children’s Museum, 1500 Binz, is $5 per person, $4 for seniors 65 and older, free for children younger than 2 years old.
