The youth ministries of West U. Baptist and Crosspoint Church joined forces with Mission Houston on Oct. 17 to beautify the campus of Gordon Elementary School in Bellaire. More than 60 youth and their parents, along with school representatives, students and parents, participated in the service project, which included raking, cleaning beds, mulching and enhancing the landscaping with two new beds.

“This important day of service offered our church youth a meaningful opportunity to serve together, encourage the school’s deserving students and give back to our community,” said Senior Pastor-elect Roger Patterson in a statement. “We were honored to join forces to beautify Gordon Elementary’s campus and give back to the community.”
