The city of Bellaire will host an open house at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, February 2, so that citizens can see plans for new municipal facilities and meet with members of the Bellaire City Council as well as volunteers serving on various boards and commissions.
Following the open house, the City Council will hold a regular session, where Mayor Phil Nauert will deliver his annual state of the City speech.
In addition, City Engineer James Andrews will present a report on the current and future status of Bellaire’s streets and drainage systems.
Andrews will address a program to bring the city of Bellaire’s nearly 140-lane miles of roads up to an acceptable level of service “in a reasonable amount of time,” and continue the city’s efforts to upgrade its underground storm sewer system.
The open house and council meeting will be held at Bellaire City Hall, 7008 S. Rice Ave.

I’ll bet that Evelyn’s park conservancy will not be there to account for their stewardship of city property and Money.
