City of Bellaire offices closed to observe Veterans Day; see other openings, closings

November 11, 2015 by Charlotte Aguilar 1 Comment

Bellaire observes Veterans Day as a holiday, so all city offices will be closed today (Wednesday, Nov. 11) and curbside recycling service postponed to Thursday.
Federal, state, and city of Houston offices are closed, as well. That means no mail service.
Schools, Harris County offices, and most businesses are open — but you may find your bank closed.
The city of Houston will sponsor its annual Houston Salutes American Heroes fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at City Hall, with a parade launching at 11:30 a.m. from Dallas and Bagby streets. For more, click here.

Veterans Day should be a National Holiday for all.
It is a most important reminder of our freedom and sacrifice that men and women have made and especially their loved ones. Thank you Veterans.
    God Bless America !!
