RecyclExpress and curbside collection for the City of West U. will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 6. Residents whose garbage and recycling collection were due today are asked to hold their garbage until the regularly scheduled pick-up - Aug. 8 for garbage, Aug. 12 for recycling.
All garbage and recycling collections were cancelled today due to Tropical Storm Edouard, along with all recreational classes. Colonial Pool was also closed today. Recreational classes will resume tomorrow, and city pools will resume normally scheduled hours.
City representatives say there were no reports of flooding in the city.
