Cleo, a Houston cat who likes walking on a leash and dressing up in clothes, is having a birthday party to help support SMART Rescue on Sunday, Sept. 19.

SMART Rescue is a no-kill rescue organization that actively pulls animals scheduled to be killed.
The event will be held at the The French Alliance, 427 Lovett, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Food, beverages, birthday cake and ice cream will be served. Guests will also be able to participate in a silent auction and raffle.
Local musicians Chase Hamblin and Constant Billy will be performing at the party.
The cost is $10 to attend and children are free. All proceeds will go to SMART Rescue.
