The City of Bellaire’s Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Senior Services Center at City Hall, 7008 South Rice Ave.
The committee will recap priorities and issues included in the 1997 Comprehensive Plan, issues still relevant for the 2009 Comprehensive Plan and new issues which have emerged since 1997.
The committee will discuss areas of Bellaire likely to change versus those likely to remain stable, consideration of community resource areas such as schools, parks and public facilities, consideration of neighborhood and residential variety as well as commercial and office development area, redevelopment and transition area, discussion on key image areas and corridors and compatibility issues at city limits.
