Construction On The New Police Station, City Hall Expansion, Well Under Way

Construction for the new city hall and police facility is moving along.
The project started in early May and is expected to take between nine months and one year to complete.
The new station attaches to the existing West University Place City Hall at Auden Street and University Boulevard.
The two-story expansion project costs $5.9 million.
The city has a budget of about $400,000 for furniture, fixtures and audio visual equipment for the completed rooms.
