A victim walking west in the 4900 block of Palmetto Street on June 27 at approximately 8:45 p.m. was robbed at gunpoint.
The robbery occurred when a silver four-door sedan with two unknown suspects inside approached the victim. At the time, the victim was walking east on Palmetto. The sedan entered a driveway, cutting off the victim’s path of travel.
The first suspect is described to be in his early twenties, approximately 5 feet 4 inches, light build, with an afro-style hair with orange color on top. The first suspect was wearing a white shirt and grey short.
The first suspect exited the passenger side of the sedan and approached the victim, while the second suspect remained inside the vehicle. The first suspect demanded the victim to give up the cell phone but the victim was hesitant.
It was at this point when the first suspect brandished a gun. The victim complied and gave the cell phone up. The first suspect then entered the sedan and left, traveling east on Palmetto Street, towards Second Street.
