West University police are seeking the public’s help in locating a home burglary suspect who was caught in the act on surveillance video in the 4100 block of Emory Street shortly after 1 p.m. Oct. 3.

The man broke in through a rear patio door and took “multiple items” from the home, according to police before fleeing west on Judson toward Bellaire in an older model silver or gray Toyota sedan with five-spoke chrome wheels and black bumpers. He also apparently knocked on the front door of a neighbor’s home.

The video shows him bearded with arm tattoos, wearing a red Houston Rockets T-shirt, blue shorts and a cap.

Anyone with information on the suspect should contact West U police at 713-668-0330 or at crime@westutx.gov.
