Driver Arrested For Lying To Bellaire Police Officers

A 28-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 14 for lying to police, traffic violations and outstanding warrants.

Bellaire police arrested a 28-year-old man on Dec. 14 for lying to police officers.

According to reports, police pulled a vehicle over in the 5400 block of Bellaire for driving without a front license plate.

During the traffic stop, the driver tried to use a fake driver’s license from another country as his identifiers, police said.

The driver, Osman Contreras, was arrested for traffic violations.

His real identification was later obtained by police and he was charged with fail to ID to a police officer.

He also had three outstanding warrants with the Houston Police Department.
