Early voting ends today for the Bellaire General Election.
Residents can vote in person at the Harris County Clerk’s Office, Election Department, Harris County Administration Building, 1001 Preston, or any of the other 36 early voting polling locations designated by Harris County.

Four positions will expire on Jan. 9, 2012 including mayor, council member positions 2, 4 and 6.
The Bellaire city charter limits service to two consecutive four-year terms for council members and four consecutive two-year terms as mayor.
The term for mayor will begin on Jan. 9 and end on Jan. 6, 2014. The terms for the open council seats will begin on Jan. 9 and end on Jan. 4, 2016.
Phil Nauert and Robert Riquelmy are going head-to-head for mayor.
James P. Avioli, Sr. is running for position two, Susan Downs and Pat McLaughlan are going head-to-head for position four and Mandy Nathan is running for position six.
Polls will be open in Bellaire on Election Day, Nov. 8, at the following locations:
Precinct 128 – Bellaire Civic Center – 7008 S. Rice Ave.
Precinct 182 – Paul W. Horn Elementary School – 4535 Pine St. at Avenue B
Precinct 214 – The Gatherings – 5200 Bellaire Blvd.
Precinct 215 – Faith Lutheran Church – 4600 Bellaire Blvd.
Precinct 268 – Christ Church Presbyterian – 4925 Bellaire Blvd.
