“Exploring St. Paul’s,” a four-part series about St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, will be offered at 9:45 a.m. for four Sundays, beginning October 26. The series, taught by Rev. Gail Williford, includes a tour of the church’s sanctuary building, a Modified English Gothic structure constructed in 1929 in the Museum District. Other topics include the history of Methodism and St. Paul’s, beliefs of Christians with emphasis on United Methodists, sacraments, and getting involved at St. Paul’s. St. Paul’s UMC is located at 5501 Main Street at Binz/Bissonnet, across from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Free parking is available across Fannin Street from the church, and the Museum District MetroRail stops are within walking distance of the church. Website: www.stpaulshouston.org.
