West University Place will celebrate its seventh annual Full Moon Fest tonight (Friday, Oct. 18) followed by a Movie in the Park.
The fest will include pumpkin decorating, a costume contest by age group (pre-registration is already closed for this), and a variety of carnival-style fun starting at 5:30 p.m. in Colonial Park Pavilion, 4130 Byron St.
Starting at 7 p.m., the film, “A Dog’s Way Home” (PG-rated) will screen as part of the Movies in the Park series.
